A device facilitating mixing of a fluid containing magnetic or magnetizable particles, including a support for a container for the fluid and particles, a first magnet adjacent one side of the support, a second magnet adjacent the other side, and a drive for moving the second magnet between a first position near the container top and a second position near the container bottom. The first magnet is supported in a third position on the one side near the container bottom. A related tray and method for mixing magnetic particles are also disclosed. L'invention concerne un dispositif facilitant le mélange d'un fluide contenant des particules magnétiques ou magnétisables, le dispositif comprenant un support pour un contenant pour le fluide et les particules, un premier aimant adjacent à un côté du support, un second aimant adjacent à l'autre côté, et un entraînement pour déplacer le second aimant entre une première position proche de la partie supérieure du contenant et une deuxième position proche de la partie inférieure du contenant. Le premier aimant est supporté dans une troisième position sur le côté proche de la partie inférieure du contenant.
