Summary:An airway ventilation device for insertion in an elongate body cavity is provided. The airway ventilation device includes an endotracheal tube and an inflation cuff. The inflation cuff is toroidal in shape and includes one or more recessed attachment zones which allow for movement of the endotracheal tube without breaking the seal between the inflation cuff and the elongate body cavity. Un dispositif de ventilation des voies aériennes pour une introduction dans une cavité de corps allongée fait l'objet de l'invention. Le dispositif de ventilation des voies aériennes comprend un tube endotrachéal et un ballonnet de gonflage. Le ballonnet de gonflage est de forme toroïdale et comprend une ou plusieurs zones de fixation creusées qui permettent le mouvement du tube endotrachéal sans rompre le joint entre le ballonnet de gonflage et la cavité de corps allongée.
