It is intended to provide a plate for mass spectrometry which makes it possible to simply and less expensively identify and quantify a component to be analyzed that is contained, even at a low concentration, in the environment, foods, industrial products and so on without resorting to use any complicated interface and the application range thereof is not restricted to the fields of the synthesis of organic compounds or drug discovery; and a thin layer chromatograph-mass spectrometry method and apparatus using the same. A plate (30) for mass spectrometry onto which a component to be measured, that has been separated on a thin layer chromatography plate, is transcribed from the thin layer chromatography plate and then subjected to mass spectrometry, wherein a carrier having no adsorbing activity is layered, as a fixation phase (32) for carrying the component to be measured, on a plate base (31). Selon l'invention, un support qui ne présente aucune activité d'adsorption est placé, en tant que phase de fixation (32) pour supporter le composant à mesurer, sur une plaque de base (31).
