The invention relates to compositions comprising (I) a silicone-based coating component susceptible to misting under mist-producing conditions; and (II) an anti- misting amount of at least one branched polysiloxane of reduced molecular weight and viscosity. The invention also relates to a process for coating a substrate with the above coating formulation, as well as hardened silicone-based coatings or films produced by subjecting the coated substrate to one or more curing steps. L'invention concerne des compositions contenant (I) un composant de revêtement à base de silicone susceptible de former un voile dans des conditions de formation de voile et (II) un agent anti-voile composé d'au moins un polysiloxane ramifié présentant un poids moléculaire et une viscosité réduits. L'invention concerne également un procédé de revêtement d'un substrat à l'aide de ladite formulation de revêtement, ainsi que des revêtements ou films à base de silicone durcis, obtenus en soumettant le substrat revêtu à une ou plusieurs étapes de durcissement.
