A woven cloth such as denim cloth woven by jacquard in which more realistic decoloration pattern can be obtained and the process is simplified. A woven cloth (10) is woven by jacquard, all parts of a jean are cut out from the woven cloth and sewn as a jean. The parts (12-34) of a jean are distributed such that the outline is woven in a section with a predetermined length of the cloth, and the parts are cut out from one woven cloth section along its outlines (12-34) and then sawn as a product. Decoloration patterns (40, 42, 44, 46) in the parts (12-34) of a jean are woven by jacquard. The decoloration pattern sets a texture in which an original image is scanned, light and dark regions are formed, and the embossing ratio of indigo blue is varied depending on the shading. La présente invention concerne une étoffe, par exemple une étoffe de type denim tissée au métier Jacquard dans laquelle un motif de décoloration plus réaliste peut être obtenu par un procédé simplifié. Une étoffe (10) est tissée au moyen d'un métier Jacquard, toutes les parties d'un jean sont découpées dans ladite étoffe et cousues ensemble pour faire un jean. Les parties (12 - 34) du jean sont réparties de façon à ce que le contour soit tissé dans une section d'une longueur prédéterminée de l'étoffe, et les parties sont découpées dans une section d'étoffe le long de leurs contours (12 - 34), puis cousues pour donner un produit. Des motifs de décoloration (40, 42, 44, 46) dans les parties (12 - 34) d'un jean sont tissés au métier Jacquard. Le motif de décoloration détermine une texture dans laquelle une image originale est scannée, des régions claires et sombres sont formées et le rapport de gaufrage du bleu indigo est modifié selon le nuançage.
