The disrupting layer may include a layer of polygonal ceramic tiles with a deflecting front surface, encased by a retaining polymer, and may also include fire-retarding particles. L'invention concerne un blindage composite qui comprend une couche perturbatrice et une couche de renfort apportant une protection contre l'explosion et les menaces balistiques. La couche perturbatrice comprend des particules ou des tuiles en céramique qui interrompent la progression du projectile entrant, tandis que la couche de renfort empêche la pénétration au-delà du blindage du projectile faillé. La couche perturbatrice peut comprendre une couche de tuiles en céramique polygonales présentant une surface avant déviatrice, encapsulée dans un polymère de rétention, et peut également comprendre des particules ignifuges.
