Specifically disclosed is an agent for prevention and/or treatment of multiple sclerosis, which contains 2-benzyl-5-(4-chlorophenyl)-6-[4-(methylthio)phenyl]-2H- pyridazin-3-one or a solvate thereof as an active ingredient. La présente invention concerne un agent à administrer par voie orale, destiné à la prévention et/ou le traitement de la sclérose en plaques, qui agit efficacement sur la sclérose en plaques et est très sûr. L'invention porte en particulier sur un agent destiné à la prévention et/ou le traitement de la sclérose en plaques, qui contient du 2-benzyl-5-(4-chlorophényl)-6-[4-(méthylthio)phényl]-2H-pyridazine-3-un ou son solvate en tant qu'ingrédient actif.
