Summary:An assembly for sealably injecting a fluent material into an intradiscal space accessed through an opening in the annulus of a spinal disc comprises a cannula having a passageway for injecting the fluent material therethrough into the intradiscal space, a seal having a sealing surface for sealing engagement with the outer surface of the disc annulus and defining a central opening for, and an articulating joint defined between the central opening of the seal and the cannula configured to permit relative articulation between the components. The assembly may further comprise an anchor element extending through the central opening of the seal, the anchor element including an elongated threaded body sized for threaded engagement within the opening in the disc annulus and having a head configured to engage a distal end of the cannula. L'invention concerne un ensemble servant à injecter de manière étanche une matière coulante dans un espace intervertébral accessible par une ouverture ménagée dans l'anneau d'un disque vertébral. L'ensemble comprend: une canule munie d'un passage par lequel la matière coulante est injectée dans l'espace intervertébral; un joint présentant une surface d'étanchéité en prise étanche avec la surface extérieure de l'anneau du disque et délimitant une ouverture centrale et un joint d'articulation situé entre l'ouverture centrale du joint et la canule pour permettre une articulation relative entre les éléments. L'ensemble peut également comprendre: un élément d'ancrage qui s'étend à travers l'ouverture centrale du joint et présente un corps fileté allongé, dimensionné pour s'introduire par vissage dans l'ouverture de l'anneau du disque et comportant une tête conçue pour entrer en prise avec une extrémité distale de la canule.
