La présente invention concerne un système d'implantation permettant de mettre en place et de fixer un capteur dans l'artère pulmonaire d'un patient. En général, le système d'implantation comporte un générateur d'impulsions, un cathéter (40) et un capteur (42) couplé à l'extrémité distale du cathéter. Le capteur est un capteur sans fil et est conçu pour communiquer avec le générateur d'impulsions ou avec un dispositif externe (50).
