Summary:A card retention mechanism comprises a first and second brackets (20, 60). The first and second brackets are mountable to a circuit board (102). Further, the first and second brackets are adapted to retain a circuit card (25, 27) therebetween. The second bracket comprises an exposed region (80) that exposes an electrical contact (26, 28) of the card to be exposed to enable electrical connection of a conductor (29, 30, 31, 32) thereto. Un mécanisme de fixation de carte comprend des première et deuxième pattes de fixation (20, 60). Ces première et deuxième pattes de fixation peuvent être installées sur une carte à circuits (102) et sont en outre adaptées pour retenir une carte à circuits (25, 27) entre ces dernières. La deuxième patte de fixation comporte une région exposée (80) qui laisse voir un contact électrique (26, 28) de la carte devant être exposée pour permettre la connexion électrique d'un conducteur (29, 30, 31, 32) à cette dernière.
