In this way, a portion of press load or energy consumed in a deformation or deflection of the bolster is reduced, thereby reducing a loss of the press load. L'invention concerne une presse qui inclut un porte-matrice (7) sur lequel une matrice inférieure est placée et un support de porte-matrice (9) qui soutient au moins une partie d'une partie périphérique et une partie sensiblement centrale du porte-matrice. De cette façon, une partie de la charge de pression ou de l'énergie consommée dans une déformation ou un fléchissement du porte-matrice est réduite, ce qui limite une perte de la charge de pression.
