Le système inclut une brosse à dents, une ou plusieurs sources de lumière UV pouvant être mises en oevre par le circuit électrique en vue d'appliquer de la lumière UV aux poils de la brosse à dents, ainsi qu'une coiffe configurée pour être installée sur la brosse à dents. Les sources de lumière UV ne peuvent être mises en oevre que lorsque la coiffe est installée sur la brosse à dents.
