A diagnostic agent to be sprayed onto the inner wall of a digestive organ in an inspection through an endoscope, characterized by comprising an acidic aqueous solution of pH 1 to 5 which contains a dye in an intermediate or cold hue and at least one kind of acid selected from the group consisting of a carboxylic acid, hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid. By spraying the above-described diagnostic agent onto the inner wall of a digestive organ in an inspection through an endoscope, a lesion site that can hardly specified can be clearly monitored. This agent is particularly suitable for monitoring a lesion site having cancer cells in the stomach or the Barrett's esophagus. La présente invention concerne un agent de diagnostic destiné à être pulvérisé sur la paroi interne d'un organe digestif lors d'un examen au moyen d'un endoscope, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend une solution aqueuse liquide dont le pH est de 1 à 5 qui contient une teinture dans une teinte intermédiaire ou froide et au moins un type d'acide sélectionné à partir du groupe se composant d'acide carboxylique, d'acide chlorhydrique, d'acide sulfurique et d'acide phosphorique.
