A catheter comprises a first catheter shaft comprising a wall. The wall comprises at least one section of electroactive polymer having an actuated state and a non-actuated state and defines a first lumen. In the actuated state the first lumen haves a first diameter and in the non-actuated state the first lumen haves a second diameter, the first diameter being different than the second diameter. La présente invention concerne un cathéter constitué d'un premier axe de cathéter pourvu d'une paroi. La paroi comporte au moins une section composée d'un polymère électroactif, susceptible de se trouver dans un état actionné et dans un état non actionné, et définit une première lumière. À l'état actionné, la première lumière présente un premier diamètre, et à l'état non actionné, la première lumière présente un second diamètre, le premier diamètre étant différent du second diamètre.
