Summary: | A portable light device is capable of generating light that is substantially uniformly distributed at its surface. The light device includes a housing having at least a translucent portion formed of a translucent material. A first light source is disposed within the housing and is adapted to generate light. A first optical structure is positioned to direct at least a portion of the light from the first light source toward the housing translucent portion, and a second optical structure is positioned between the first light source and the housing translucent portion, the second optical structure being adapted to diffuse at least a portion of the light for uniform distribution across the housing translucent portion.
L'invention concerne un appareil lumineux portable pouvant générer de la lumière répartie sensiblement uniformément à sa surface. L'appareil lumineux inclut une enveloppe ayant au moins une partie translucide formée d'un matériau translucide. Une première source lumineuse est placée à l'intérieur de l'enveloppe et agencée pour générer de la lumière. Une première structure optique est placée afin de diriger au moins une partie de la lumière de la première source lumineuse vers la partie translucide de l'enveloppe et une seconde structure optique est placée entre la première source lumineuse et la partie translucide de l'enveloppe, la seconde structure optique étant agencée pour diffuser au moins une partie de la lumière pour obtenir une distribution uniforme à travers la partie translucide de l'enveloppe. |
