More Information
Summary:The present invention is directed to methods for the fabrication of polymer nanoparticles comprising the addition of polymer solutions to aqueous solutions containing surfactants, wherein the concentration of the surfactants in the aqueous solution are lower than the critical micelle concentration of the surfactants. The methods of the present invention provide for the precipitation of uniformly dispersed polymer particles in the submicron size range, preferably from about 5 nm to about 100 nm.
