Disclosed is a composition for use in the production of [N,N'-ethylenedi-L-cysteinate(3-)]oxotechnetium(99mTc) diethyl ester, wherein the composition comprises N,N'-(1,2-ethylene)bis-L-cysteine diethyl ester or a salt thereof, a reducing agent, and an acidic substance of a salt thereof. La présente invention a pour but de proposer une composition pour marquer l'ECD avec 99mTc en peu de temps de manière efficace. Elle concerne une composition à utiliser dans la production d'ester de [N,N'-éthylènedi-L-cystéinate(3-)]oxotechnétium(99mTc) diéthyle, la composition comprenant un ester de N,N'-(1,2-éthylène)bis-L-cystéine diéthyle ou un sel de celui-ci, un agent réducteur et une substance acide d'un sel de celui-ci.
