Summary: | The present invention relates to a device that allows controlled stimulation of the visual system and optical path by means of the emission, from an emitter placed on the eyelid, of flashes of light of a duration, frequency, luminous intensity and wavelength that are controlled by the user from a control device connected to the emitter via a cable. The proposed system has clinical, teaching and research applications relating to the response of the visual system and visual potentials, and can be used in operating theatres and neurophysiological monitoring units.
