Summary:A filter press comprises a single-filter-chamber device which consists of a fixed filter plate (12), a multifunctional filter-chamber-hoop (7), a moving frame (5) and a free filter plate (20). There are a liquid & air inlet (46) and the filtrate outlet (47) on the fixed filter plate (12), and there is a round filter-chamber sealing surface (43) of the fixed filter plate on the fixed filter plate (12), and there are discharging grooves (44) on the surface of the fixed filter plate. The filter cloth (9) of the fixed filter plate is fastened by the filter-chamber sealing surface (43) of the fixed filter plate and a filter-chamber sealing surface (40) of the multifunctional filter-chamber-hoop (7), and the filter cloth (6) of the free filter plate is fixed by another filter-chamber sealing surface (37) of the multifunctional filter-chamber-hoop (7) and the sealing surface (33) of the moving frame.
