Summary:The present invention is directed to methods for extracting a kerogen-based product from subsurface (oil) shale formations, wherein such methods rely on fracturing and/or rubblizing portions of said formations so as to enhance their fluid permeability, and wherein such methods further rely on chemically modifying the shale-bound kerogen so as to render it mobile. The present invention is also directed at systems for implementing at least some of the foregoing methods. Additionally, the present invention is also directed to methods of fracturing and/or rubblizing subsurface shale formations and to methods of chemically modifying kerogen in situ so as to render it mobile. La présente invention concerne des procédés d'extraction d'un produit à base de kérogène à partir de formations souterraines, lesdits procédés consistant à fracturer et/ou à fracturer par résonance des parties desdites formations pour améliorer leur perméabilité fluidique, lesdits procédés consistant également à modifier chimiquement le kérogène lié au schiste pour le rendre mobile. La présente invention concerne également des systèmes permettant de mettre en oeuvre au moins certains desdits procédés. La présente invention concerne, de plus, des procédés de fracturation et/ou de fracturation par résonance de formations souterraines de schiste, et des procédés de modification chimique du kérogène in situ pour le rendre mobile.
