The composition possesses good stability and mechanical property. Also disclosed is a process to prepare these compositions and articles therefrom. L'invention concerne une composition de résine ignifuge qui comprend : un polyester, lequel comprend entre environ 1 et environ 15 pour cent molaire d'un diol insaturé; un composé ignifuge; et un composé organique comprenant au moins un groupe réactif carboxyle. La composition de l'invention présente de bonnes propriétés de stabilité et mécaniques. L'invention concerne également un procédé de préparation desdites compositions ainsi que des articles obtenus au moyen de ces dernières.
