Summary:A user interface for a portable device is disclosed. The method includes a computer-implemented method for providing a user interface for interacting with a computing device, the method including the steps of: representing an indicator of an application on the computing device in a highlighted state when a user navigates to the indicator; presenting an option panel contextually related to the application when the user selects a panel key on the computing device; and running the application when the user selects an execute key on the computing device. On décrit une interface utilisateur pour dispositif portatif. On décrit un procédé qui met en oevre une interface utilisateur destinée à interagir avec un dispositif informatique. Le procédé consiste à: représenter dans un état mis en évidence un indicateur d'une application du dispositif informatique lorsqu'un utilisateur navigue vers l'indicateur; présenter de manière contextuelle un écran à options associé à l'application lorsque l'utilisateur choisit une touche-écran du dispositif informatique; et exécuter l'application lorsque l'utilisateur choisit une touche d'exécution du dispositif informatique.
