Summary:It is intended to provide a composition having an effect of lowering blood pressure and/or inhibiting an increase in blood pressure characterized by containing an oligosaccharide mainly composed of mannose in which one or more and ten or less molecules of monosaccharides which are mainly mannoses are bound and a food and drink containing the same. The composition of the invention is capable of providing the economical and convenient food and drink having an excellent effect of lowering blood pressure and/or inhibiting an increase in blood pressure, which is convenient and economical in daily diet, not accompanied with a significant change in normal diet and highly safe because of having a characteristic of being derived from a plant or food. La présente invention concerne une composition ayant un effet d'abaissement de la pression sanguine et/ou d'inhibition d'une augmentation de la pression sanguine, caractérisée en ce qu'elle contient un oligosaccharide principalement composé de mannose dans lequel sont liées une à dix molécules de monosaccharides qui sont principalement des mannoses, ainsi qu'un aliment et une boisson la contenant. La composition de l'invention permet d'obtenir un aliment et une boisson économiques et pratiques ayant un excellent effet d'abaissement de la pression sanguine et/ou d'inhibition d'une augmentation de la pression sanguine, qui sont pratiques et économiques dans le régime alimentaire quotidien, qui ne s'accompagnent pas d'une modification significative du régime alimentaire normal et qui présentent une grande sécurité du fait que la composition est dérivée d'une plante ou d'un aliment.
