Summary:Disclosed is a process for dyeing of keratin-containing fibers comprising treating the fibers with at least one functionalized particle comprising on the surface an organic chromophore which is bound via a bridge member, wherein the particles are based on SiO2, Al2O3 or mixtures thereof, and the functionalized particles carry a positive charge.
