In response to a triggering condition associated with a gaming machine of the group of gaming machines, the method further includes presenting a special event on the gaming machine, and changing a set of wagering game symbols required to achieve a known award on at least another one of the group of gaming machines. Un procédé pour mener une pluralité de jeux de hasard dans un groupe de machines de jeu consiste à recevoir des paris des joueurs dans le groupe de machines de jeu. En réponse à une condition de déclenchement associée à une machine de jeu du groupe de machines de jeu, le procédé consiste à présenter un événement spécial sur la machine de jeu, et à modifier un ensemble de symboles de jeu de hasard requis pour obtenir un prix connu dans au moins un groupe de machines de jeu.
