Summary:Information is transmitted and received between an external transmitting/receiving apparatus (10) and a wireless transmitter apparatus (20). The external transmitting/receiving apparatus (10) sequentially changes the transmission level of a carrier. The wireless transmitter apparatus (20) receives, drives and load-modulates the carrier to transmit a reply signal. The external transmitting/receiving apparatus (10), when receiving the reply from the wireless transmitter apparatus (20), determines, based on the transmission level of the carrier, the communication distance between the external transmitting/receiving apparatus (10) and the wireless transmitter apparatus (20). Cette invention concerne un dispositif d'émission/réception externe (10) qui échange des données avec un dispositif émetteur sans fil (20). Le dispositif d'émission/réception externe (10) modifie séquentiellement le niveau relatif de puissance d'une porteuse. Le dispositif émetteur sans fil (20) reçoit, transmet et module en charge la porteuse pour émettre un signal de réponse. Le dispositif d'émission/réception externe (10), à réception de la réponse du dispositif émetteur sans fil (20), détermine, selon le niveau relatif de puissance de la porteuse, la distance de communication entre lui (10) et le dispositif émetteur sans fil (20).
