The invention relates to extended release pharmaceutical compositions of venlafaxine or pharmaceutically acceptable salts. More particularly this invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition having a core comprising venlafaxine and a coating thereupon. The coating utilizes at least one water insoluble polymer and at least one polymer having pH dependent solubility to delay and modulate the release of the drug in an extended manner. La présente invention concerne des compositions pharmaceutiques à libération prolongée de venlafaxine ou de sels pharmaceutiquement acceptables. Plus particulièrement, cette invention se rapporte à une composition pharmaceutique ayant un coeur comprenant de la venlafaxine et un enrobage autour de celui-ci. L'enrobage utilise au moins un polymère insoluble dans l'eau et au moins un polymère ayant une solubilité dépendante du pH pour retarder et moduler la libération du médicament de manière prolongée.
