There is provided a recording medium enabling a content provider to control a message. The recording medium is provided by the content provider. The recording medium contains a content and a program executed when the content is reproduced by a reproduction device for reproducing the content. The program includes a communication step for communicating with another program stored in the reproduction device in advance and executed during reproduction of the content; and an output step for sending a message decided in accordance with the communication result to the another program. The reproduction device includes read means for reading the program from the recording medium, start means for starting the program which has been read in, communication means for communicating with the program, and processing means for receiving a message in accordance with communication result from the recording medium and performing a process in accordance with the received message. L'invention concerne un support d'enregistrement qui permet à un fournisseur de contenu de contrôler un message. Le support d'enregistrement est fourni par le fournisseur de contenu. Le support d'enregistrement contient un contenu et un programme exécuté lorsque le contenu est reproduit par un dispositif de reproduction afin de reproduire le contenu.
