Summary:A motor vehicle (5) is disclosed having front and rear roof panels (6) and (7) which can be moved from in use to stowed positions to change the style of the motor vehicle from a closed type vehicle to a cabriolet. A stowage mechanism (20) for the front roof panel (6) is disclosed which can be easily packaged in the motor vehicle and enables the front roof panel (6) to be raised so as to enable the rear roof panel (7) to be stowed. A corresponding method for converting the vehicle to a cabriolet it also disclosed. Véhicule motorisé (5) ayant des panneaux de toit avant et arrière (6) et (7) qui peuvent être déplacés d'une position en utilisation à une position rangée pour changer le style du véhicule motorisé d'un véhicule de type fermé à un cabriolet. L'invention concerne un mécanisme de rangement (20) pour le panneau de toit avant (6) qui peut être facilement rangé dans le véhicule motorisé et permet au panneau de toit avant (6) d'être relevé pour permettre au panneau de toit arrière (7) d'être rangé.
