Summary:In the method for detecting water leakage of a coil, when detecting whether cooling water supplied to the conductor of a coil coated with an insulation layer has leaked to the insulation layer or not, an AC voltage or a DC voltage is applied to the conductor, a surface electrode device is applied to the insulation layer, the surface electrode device is grounded through an impedance, potential of the surface electrode device is measured, and a decision is made that water has leaked from the conductor to the insulation layer if the measured potential is higher than that of a flawless coil. L'invention concerne un procédé de détection de fuites d'eau d'une bobine selon lequel, lorsque l'on détecte si de l'eau de refroidissement amenée au conducteur d'une bobine recouverte d'une couche isolante a fui vers la couche isolante ou non, une tension alternative ou continue est appliquée au conducteur, un dispositif à électrode de surface est appliqué sur la couche isolante, le dispositif à électrode de surface est mis à la terre au moyen d'une impédance, le potentiel du dispositif à électrode de surface est mesuré, et l'on décide si de l'eau a fui du conducteur vers la couche isolante si le potentiel mesuré est supérieur à celui d'une bobine non défectueuse.
