L'invention concerne une diode électroluminescente organique comprenant une anode et une cathode séparées par une couche électroluminescente contenant une matière émissive. La couche située entre l'anode et la cathode contient un composé à base d'oxyde de phosphine comportant au moins deux groupes d'oxyde de tri(hétéro)arylphosphine, à condition que ces groupes soient sélectionnés de façon à obtenir un composé répondant à au critère suivant : Et=2,65 eV.
