A pole mounting system includes a pole having at least one channel configured to receive a finger of a spike. A neck of the spike extends out of the channel and attaches to a connector. Different connectors may be configured to enable different devices to be suspended on the pole. Wire management may be provided within the channel and optionally through the K-base. The pole may be supported on a K-base having a central hub formed as a pentagon with legs extending from four of its five sides. The ends of the legs may splay to form clefts that receive a flat outer perimeter of the central hub, so that the legs may be bolted to the central hub. A pole-shaped indentation is formed on a top surface of the hub to enable the pole of the pole mounting system to be attached to the K-base. L'invention porte sur un système d'accrochage à un poteau qui comporte au moins une gorge recevant le doigt d'un curseur dont le col saillant de la gorge permet de fixer un connecteur. Différents types de connecteurs permettent d'accrocher différents types de dispositifs au poteau, et différents systèmes de fils peuvent être placés dans la gorge et éventuellement dans sa base en K. Ladite base présente un moyeu en forme de pentagone d'où partent des bras fixés à quatre de ses côtés. Les extrémités des bras peuvent s'aplatir en forme de pince pour recevoir une partie du périmètre extérieur plat du moyeu auquel ils peuvent être vissés. Une cuvette ayant la forme du poteau et formée à la surface supérieure du moyeu permet d'encastrer le pied du poteau dans le moyeu.
