L'invention concerne une machine portable de mesure des coordonnées qui comprend un bras articulé ayant des segments de bras articulés. Les segments de bras articulés comprennent un arbre rotatif, au moins deux roulements espacés et un logement entourant les roulements et l'arbre, où les pistes pour les roulements sont formées par au moins un des éléments suivants: (1) l'arbre constitue la piste intérieure d'au moins un des deux roulements et (2) le logement constitue la piste extérieure d'au moins un des deux roulements.
