The building has a construction member (12) including a planar heat insulation material (14) that has a vacuum-sealed core material of a porous body and also including a plate-like structural face material (12a). The heat insulation material (14) and structural face material (12a) are integrated with each other with the planar section of the heat insulation material (14) facing one plane of the structural face material (12a). The building further has wood backing members (9b) assembled on the construction member (12) and an outer wall finishing material (3) fixed on the wood backing members (9b).
