Summary:Analogue feed forward equalizer using same delay elements for filter adaptive weight control circuit. Three embodiments.1: locking up due to all coefficients being zero during initialisation avoided by centre spike initialisation method. Current source offsets gain range of centre tap filter multiplier thus forcing output of the filter multiplier to be always non-zero. 2: dc bypass circuit used in filter multipliers thus avoiding reduction in voltage swing in summer of filter due to dc offsets in filter multipliers. 3: First delay stage in each delay element receives input data.
