This invention provides a polyimide hybrid material which has better gas permeability, electric characteristics, heat resistance, mechanical strength and the like than the conventional polyimide hybrid material while maintaining the chemical resistance and molding properties (processing properties) inherently possessed by a polyimide, and can be advantageously used industrially. The multibranched polyimide hybrid material comprises an organic-inorganic polymer hybrid comprising a multibranched polyimide phase and an inorganic oxide phase which have been integrated with each other through a covalent bond to constitute a composite structure. Cette invention concerne une matière hybride de polyimide laquelle a de meilleures perméabilité aux gaz, caractéristiques électriques, résistance à la chaleur, résistance mécanique et similaires par rapport à une matière hybride de polyimide classique tout en conservant la résistance chimique et les propriétés de moulage (propriétés de transformation) possédées de façon inhérentes par un polyimide et laquelle peut être utilisée industriellement de façon avantageuse. La matière hybride de polyimide multibranche comprend un hybride de polymère organique-inorganique comprenant une phase de polyimide multibranche et une phase d'oxyde inorganique qui ont été combinées l'une avec l'autre via une liaison covalente pour constituer une structure composite.
