The invention provides a disazo pigment composition which exhibits higher safety and can give printing ink excellent in fluidity or the like. The disazo pigment composition is one which contains (I) a disazo pigment consisting of C.I. Pigment Yellow 13 or 174, (II) a carboxylic acid having an alkylated hydrophenanthrene skeleton or (III) a metal salt thereof, and (IV) a monoazo compound having carboxyphenyl, characterized in that the monoazo compound (IV) is 4-[[1-[[(2-methylphenyl)- amino]carbonyl]-2-oxopropyl]azo]benzoic acid or 4-[[1-[[(2,4- dimethylphenyl)amino]carbonyl]-2-oxopropyl]azo]benzoic acid. The invention also provides lithographic inks which each contain both the pigment composition and a vehicle for lithographic ink. La composition de pigment diazoïque est une composition contenant (I) un pigment diazoïque constitué du pigment de référence C. I. pigment jaune 13 ou 174, (II) un acide carboxylique ayant un squelette d'hydrophénanthrène alkylé ou (III) un sel de métal de celui-ci et (IV) un composé monoazoïque ayant un carboxyphényle, caractérisée en ce que le composé monoazoïque (IV) est l'acide 4-[[1-[[(2-méthylphényl)amino]carbonyl]-2-oxopropyl]azo]benzoïque ou l'acide 4-[[1-[[(2,4-diméthylphényl)amino]carbonyl]-2-oxopropyl]azo]benzoïque. L'invention concerne également des encres lithographiques qui contiennent à la fois la composition de pigment et un véhicule pour encre lithographique.
