Summary: | A ceramic structure having a scaffold with at least one opening and at least one porous filler material at least partially filling the at least one opening is described. The porous ceramic filler includes a plurality of pores. The pores have an average size in a range from about 2 nm to about 100 nm. The plurality of pores includes at least one pore architecture. For each pore architecture, the average pore size does not vary by more than about 100% when the average pore size is in a range from about 2 nm to about 50 nm, and the average pore size does not vary by more than about 50% when the average pore size is greater than about 50 nm. The plurality of pores includes at least two pore architectures when the porous filler material is silica. Also described is a method of making the ceramic structure.
L'invention concerne une structure céramique ayant un Echafaudage comportant au moins une ouverture et au moins un matériau de remplissage poreux remplissant au moins partiellement au moins une ouverture. Le produit de remplissage céramique poreux comporte une pluralité de pores. Les pores ont une taille moyenne comprise entre environ 2 nm et environ 100 nm . La pluralitE de pores comporte au moins une architecture de pore. Pour chaque architecture de pore, la taille moyenne de pore ne varie pas de plus d'environ 100% lorsque la taille moyenne de pore est comprise entre environ 2 nm et environ 50 nm, et la taille moyenne de pore ne varie pas de plus d'environ 50% lorsque la taille moyenne de pore est supErieure A environ 50 nm. La pluralitE de pores comporte au moins deux architectures de pore lorsque le matEriau de remplissage poreux est la silice.
