The fluid maintains the substrate spaced from the support surface (17) and the flow of the fluid between the substrate and the support surface causes a net longitudinal force on the substrate. La présente invention se rapporte à un guide de support (11) conçu pour transporter un substrat oblong souple (13). Ce guide de support (11) comprend une surface de support (17) et un moyen d'alimentation en fluide conçu pour amener un fluide entre la surface de support et le substrat (13). Le fluide maintient le substrat à distance de la surface de support (17) et l'écoulement du fluide entre le substrat et la surface de support génère une force longitudinale nette sur le substrat.
