L'invention concerne un dispositif destiné à la rétention d'un caillot, permettant de séparer les composants liquides des composants solides d'un prélèvement contenu dans un récipient comportant un élément de fermeture. Ce dispositif comprend des doigts conçus pour déplacer les composants solides du prélèvement. Le dispositif peut être introduit par l'élément de fermeture du récipient sans qu'il faille retirer le récipient. L'invention concerne également un procédé permettant de séparer les composants liquides des composants solides d'un prélèvement.
