Summary:A broadband communications system uses modulation symbol transport over communications links to replace baseband or bandpass signal transport, thereby providing longer communication distances, lower communication link bandwidth, and greater signal quality. Subsequent to transporting the modulation symbols, the symbols are modulated and further transmitted over the RF transmission network. L'invention concerne un système de communications large bande mettant en oeuvre le transport de symboles de modulation sur des liaisons de communications, afin de remplacer le transport de signaux bande de base ou passe-bande, ce qui permet d'obtenir de plus longues distances de communication, une largeur de bande de liaisons de communications inférieure et une qualité de signaux supérieure. Après le transport, les symboles sont modulés puis transmis sur le réseau de transmission RF.
