L'invention concerne une protéine à laquelle est lié un polymère qui réagit avec un composé contenant un groupe mercapto afin d'enlever des molécules polymères liées aux groupes mercapto de résidus de cystéine par le biais d'une liaison ester. Ainsi, on peut produire un composite polymère de la protéine sans pour autant réduire considérablement des fonctions de la protéine.
