A photosensitive composition remover used for removal of an uncured photosensitive composition, which remover comprises 1 to 80 percent by mass of at least one type of aromatic hydrocarbon having 9 carbon atoms or more within the molecule. The photosensitive composition remover further comprises an aprotic polar solvent and/or another solvent other than aprotic polar solvents. The photosensitive composition remover is effective for removal of an uncured photosensitive composition film deposited at the periphery, edges, or back of a substrate or removal of an uncured photosensitive composition deposited at the surface of system members or equipment in a process for forming a photosensitive composition film on a glass substrate, a semiconductor wafer, or the like. It is preferably used for removal of a photosensitive composition containing a pigment in a process for forming a photosensitive composition film on a substrate in the process of production of a liquid crystal or an organic EL display. L'invention concerne un décapant de composition photosensible, permettant d'éliminer une composition photosensible non durcie. Ce décapant contient de 1 à 80 pour-cent en masse d'au moins un type d'hydrocarbure aromatique dont la molécule contient au moins 9 atomes de carbone. Ce décapant de composition photosensible comprend en outre un solvant polaire aprotique et/ou un solvant autre qu'un solvant polaire aprotique. Ce décapant de composition photosensible permet d'éliminer de manière efficace une couche de composition photosensible non durcie déposée sur le pourtour, sur les bords, ou sur l'arrière d'un substrat, ou d'éliminer une composition photosensible non durcie déposée à la surface des pièces d'un système ou d'un appareillage utilisés dans un processus comprenant la formation d'une couche de composition photosensible sur un substrat vitreux, une plaquette de semi-conducteur ou analogues. Ce décapant est de préférence utilisé pour éliminer une composition photosensible contenant un pigment, lors de la formation de couche de composition photosensible sur un substrat au cours du processus de production d'un afficheur à cristaux liquides ou d'un afficheur électroluminescent organique.
