Summary:Systems and methods for presenting a merged view of remotely installed applications to which a user has terminal server (TS) based access are described. In one aspect, a client computing device generates one or more shortcuts to one or more respective applications (406). Each of the applications is installed at one or more installation points in an Intranet. The client computing device is external to the Intranet. The one or more shortcuts are aggregated to present a merged view of the applications. The merged view is transparent of whether the applications are managed by different information sources on the Intranet and/or configured for remote TS-based execution by different ones of one or more installation points. La présente invention a trait à des systèmes et des procédés pour la présentation fusionnée d'application installées à distance auxquelles un terminal d'utilisateur possède un accès basé sur un serveur de terminaux. Dans un mode de réalisation, un dispositif informatique de client génère un ou plusieurs accès rapides à une ou des applications respectives. Chacune des applications est installée au niveau d'un ou de plusieurs points d'installation dans un Intranet. Le dispositif informatique de client est extérieur à l'Intranet. Ledit un ou lesdits plusieurs accès rapides sont rassemblés pour la présentation d'une vue fusionnée des applications. La vue fusionnée est indépendante du fait que les applications sont gérées par des sources d'information différentes sur l'Intranet et/ou de configuration pour exécution basée sur un serveur de terminaux par certains parmi ledit un ou lesdits plusieurs points d'installation.
