A concept of virtual film is introduced, thereby realizing a method for providing a novel useful virtual film that allows the user to store photos without expending time and trouble and that reduces the post-processes so that the management at the server is easier. A mobile terminal (1) with a camera built therein is connected to a server (3) via an electric communication line (2), such as Internet, so as to request for using a virtual film (F) selected among several types (K) of virtual films prepared in the server (3) in advance, thereby storing, in the virtual film (F), the data of photos as taken. Then, for example, when the virtual film (F) is used up, the server (3) outputs the photo data stored in the virtual film (F) to an external storage medium (OM) so as to release the storage of the server (3) for reusing. In this way, the virtual film (F) can be used as if a single-use film. La présente invention introduit un concept de film virtuel et se rapporte à un procédé de fourniture d'un nouveau film virtuel utile qui permet à l'utilisateur de stocker des photos sans dépense de temps ni d'énergie et qui réduit les traitements ultérieurs, facilitant ainsi la gestion au niveau du serveur. Un terminal mobile (1) doté d'une caméra intégrée est connecté à un serveur (3) par l'intermédiaire d'une ligne de communication électrique (2), du type Internet, de manière à permettre une demande d'utilisation d'un film virtuel (F) sélectionné parmi plusieurs types (K) de films virtuels préparés dans le serveur (3) à l'avance, ceci permettant le stockage dans le film virtuel (F) des données correspondant aux photos prises. Ensuite, par exemple, lorsque le film virtuel (F) est utilisé entièrement, le serveur (3) produit en sortie les données de photos stockées dans le film virtuel (F) sur un support de stockage externe (OM) de manière à libérer l'espace de stockage du serveur (3) aux fins de sa réutilisation. De cette manière, le film virtuel (F) peut être utilisé comme s'il était un film à utilisation unique.
