The lithium battery system also includes a path for heat transfer across the first terminal set of each of the plurality of cells and a path configured to direct a flow of effluent from at least one of the plurality of cells. L'invention concerne un système de batterie au lithium comprenant un module doté d'une pluralité de cellules connectées électriquement, chacune d'elle possédant un premier ensemble de bornes et un second ensemble de bornes. Ledit système de batterie au lithium comprend également un chemin de transfert de chaleur positionné sur le premier ensemble de bornes de la pluralité de cellules et un chemin configuré afin de diriger l'écoulement d'un effluent à partir d'au moins l'une des cellules de la pluralité.
