An ether derivative represented by the formula (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, hydrate, or solvate thereof: (I) (wherein the symbols are the same as defined in the description) and an ether derivative represented by the formula (III) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, hydrate, or solvate thereof: (III) (wherein the symbols are the same as defined in the description); a medicinal composition containing any of the ether derivatives; and a package on which directions about the medicinal composition and for the use thereof are shown. The medicinal composition, which contains any of these compounds, has excellent antiphlogistic and analgesic activity and is useful as various medicines such as an anti-inflammatory agent, analgesic, therapeutic agent for inflammatory intestine diseases, therapeutic agent for frequent urination and/or urinary incontinence, and therapeutic agent for asthma. L'invention concerne : un dérivé éthéré représenté par la formule (I) ou un sel, hydrate ou solvate pharmaceutiquement acceptable de celui-ci (formule dans laquelle les symboles sont tels que définis dans la description), et un dérivé éthéré représenté par la formule (III) ou un sel, hydrate ou solvate pharmaceutiquement acceptable de celui-ci (formule dans laquelle les symboles sont tels que définis dans la description) ; une composition médicamenteuse contenant l'un des dérivés éthérés précités ; et un emballage sur lequel sont indiquées des précisions sur la composition et l'usage de ce produit. La composition médicamenteuse qui contient l'un de ces composés présente une excellente activité antiphlogistique et analgésique et est utilisée sous forme de divers médicaments tels que : agent anti-inflammatoire, analgésique, agent thérapeutique pour maladies intestinales inflammatoires, agent thérapeutique pour miction fréquente et/ou incontinence urinaire, et agent thérapeutique pour l'asthme.
