L'invention concerne une cale sèche flottante (10) comprenant un berceau de levage (11) présentant deux segments espacés (15), montés pivotant sur une base flottante (12), et un ou plusieurs réservoirs flottants (16, 17,18, 19, 20) interconnectant les segments (15). Une plate-forme (22) est montée sur les segments (15) et des moyens support (25, 26) de la plate-forme sont mis en oeuvre de manière à garantir que la plate-forme (15) reste à l'horizontal quand les segments (15) pivotent autour de leur fixation pivotante à la base (12).
