A compound represented by the formula [I] (wherein R represents unsubstituted pyridyl, furyl, or thienyl; m is an integer of 1 to 3; G represents beta-D-glucopyranosyl; and the positions of the hydroxy substituents on the indolopyrrocarbazole ring are the 1- and 11-positions or the 2- and 10-positions) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the compound; and an antitumor agent containing the compound or salt as an active ingredient. La présente invention a trait à un composé de formule (I), dans laquelle : R représente un groupe pyridyle, furyle, ou thiényle substitué ; m est un nombre entier de 1 à 3 ; G représente beta -D-glucopyranosyle ; et les positions des substituants hydroxy sur le noyau d'indolopyrrolocarbazole sont les positions 1 et 11 ou les positions 2 et 10 ; ou un sel pharmaceutiquement acceptable du composé ; et un agent antitumoral contenant le composé ou sel en tant que principe actif.
