Summary:A diamond recovery process wherein a layer of grease is applied to a drum which is rotated about a horizontal axis, and wet particulate diamondiferous ore is fed to an upper surface of the rotating drum so that gangue falls to one side of the drum and diamonds, embedded in the grease, are carried to an opposing side of the drum at which the diamonds are recovered.
